Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) finalised a memorandum of understanding with The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) to cooperate on the delivery of relief aid to the Occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The memorandum was signed on 18 April by JHCO Secretary-General, Ahmad Mohammed Al-Imyan at the Landmark Hotel, Amman. Dr. Adel Sabir and Dr Salah Daak attended the ceremony as representatives of Islamic Relief Worldwide.

Jamalaldin Belke, IRW’s Head of Middle East and Eastern Europe, said, “Today marks the start of cooperation between two great organisations with the goal of helping vulnerable Palestinian people. We hope to be able to extend our joint support to people in need throughout the region.”

It is hoped that the memorandum will facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
