East Africa Crisis Appeal

Islamic Relief (IR) has been carrying out Ramadhan and Qurbani projects in Somalia since 1996. A field office was established in Puntland state in 2006 to carry out development projects in the country.

IR’s work in Somalia is focused on improving access to water, healthcare and education for pastoral communities and people who have fled their homes due to conflict, floods or drought.
